This is a classic, and probably tops most romantic movie lists. A man in a nursing home reads a beautiful love story every day to a woman who is losing her memory. The story is about Noah (Ryan Gosling) a poor young man with big dreams who meets a wealthy young lady by the name of Allie (Rachel McAdams) at a town fair and falls in love with her. The two have a whirlwind romance troubled by a class divide and disapproving parents. They fall apart from one another, only to prove that those who are meant to be together always find their way back in the end.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind

This movie takes a beautiful and honest look at both the ups and downs of falling in love. Joel Barish (Jim Carrey) finds out his ex-girlfriend Clementine (Kate Winslet) has had him erased from her memory after a painful breakup. Stunned and angry, Joel decides to track down the doctor that performs the procedure and do the same. During the procedure Joel sees all his memories of Clementine and realizes he doesn’t want to forget her – but it’s too late. Inexplicably, post-procedure their paths cross and they find themselves drawn to each other – soon learning about the past they’ve both forgotten.
