After months of waiting for cast revelations, plot lines, and other details about the second season of HBO’s hit show, True Detective, we finally have great news! A one minute teaser trailer has been released, and it looks just as gritty as you’d expect. You can watch it below.
The first season of the series ended more than a year ago. Fans were anxiously awaiting news about the award-winning series’ return after an announcement that the two stars of the first season, Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson, will not be returning. Cast members joining the show for season 2 include Colin Farrell, Vince Vaughn, Rachel McAdams, and Taylor Kitsch.
Written and created by Nic Pizzolatto, season two of True Detective premieres on HBO on Sunday June 21st.
