The Grand Budapest Hotel was our personal Oscar favorite. It took home four Academy Awards for Best Achievement in Costume Design, Best Achievement in Makeup and Hairstyling, Best Original Score, and Best Achievement in Production Design.

This movie follows the adventures of Gustave H, a renowned concierge at a beautiful, fancy European hotel. The story is told by Zero Moustafa, a now grown and wealthy former lobby boy who was Gustave’s most trusted friend, accomplice, and fellow adventurer. The two friends travel across Europe and try to protect a priceless Renaissance painting called “Boy with Apple”.
