There’s going to be a new girl on New Girl and her name is Megan Fox. The star will play Reagan – a beautiful pharmaceuticals rep that rents out Jess’s (played by Zooey Deschanel) room and stirs up some drama. Zooey Deschanel is currently on maternity leave, so we think it will be great to see Megan Fox in the show keeping things exciting.

Executive producer Liz Meriwether made the following statement to the press:

“It’s insane to me that such a gorgeous person can be so funny, but I guess we all just have to accept it. I’ve been a fan of her comedic skills since ‘This is 40’ and I’m so excited to have her on the show. We had Megan in mind when we wrote this part – she’s the perfect person to come in and shake these guys up”.

Megan Fox will first appear in the sixth episode of the fifth season of the series. The upcoming season will premiere in January 2016.

New Girl follows a young woman named Jess who moves into a loft with three single men after a painful break up. The group must learn to coexist despite their many differences and quirks.
