It seems as if cable providers are taking a beating lately. Shortly after HBO announced its plans to launch an independent streaming service – CBS made a similar declaration. For $5.99 a month viewers will now be able to watch an unlimited amount of episodes of The Big Bang Theory, The Good Wife, and NCIS, as well as classics like I Love Lucy.
This is more great news for those who’ve cut the cord on cable television and primarily utilize services such as Netflix, Hulu, and Vudu. Sadly, you will not be able to stream NFL games, as CBS does not own the right to them – but almost everything else is on the table (looks like the Sports industry is one of the big players keeping the cable industry going – people do love their live-broadcasts). Also, unlike on sites like Netflix, you should expect commercial breaks while using CBS’s new service.
CBS is now offering a free 1-week trial of their streaming service, which you can find on their website. Unfortunately, this service is currently limited by region. Can’t seem to access it from where you are?
Don’t miss out on any of your favorite shows. Learn how to use the CBS All Access streaming service from anywhere in the world here:
