Good news for all those down under – Netflix is coming to Australia and New Zealand in March of 2015!
It’s about time for Netflix to expand to the region to allow those residing in the area to join the over 53 million existing Netflix users. Residents of New Zealand and Australia will soon have access to thousands of hours of their favorite TV shows and movies on their computers, tablets, smarphones, smart-TVs, and gaming consoles. Pricing for the service in the region has not yet been disclosed, but users can expect it to be in the same range as the North American Netflix charges.
Just like all countries where Netflix is available, the content in Australia and New Zealand will be unique to their regions. That means that even though you might be able to watch a certain TV show in Canada, you might not be able to watch it in Australia, or vise versa.
Some new Netflix-original series will most definitely be available to users upon launch including Marco Polo, All Hail King Julien, and BoJack Horseman.
