We’ve told you about Sling TV. It’s the revolutionary service that’s making cable television relevant again. It’s the service that streams TV channels live to your phone, tablet, computer, and any other device which is enabled with the SlingTV app.
Good news everyone – the Sling TV service is live! Yes, you need a USA address to register, but if you can bypass that (hint: fake it) it seems that you can access the service from anywhere.
A basic package includes CNN, Food Network, The Disney Channel, The Cartoon Network, ESPN, ESPN 2, HGTV, The Travel Channel, Food Network, TBS, ABC Family, and TNT and costs only $20.00 a month. There’s another great addition joining this list soon – AMC. That’s right people, soon you will be able to watch The Walking Dead live online even if your don’t have cable!
You can cancel your subscription at any time, no “yearly contracts”. An on-demand section exists on the app, but the selection is small. Sling is available on Windows and OS X. The Sling apps are available on both the Android and iOS, and content channels are available on Roku and Amazon Fire TV devices, but not on the Apple TV. People using the service outside the USA have reported all channels work aside from ABC Family and The Disney Channel.
