In case you haven’t heard – the adorable little Minions from Despicable Me are getting their own movie, appropriately titled Minions, coming to the big screen on July 10th, 2015. Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment have just released an adorable teaser trailers showing the little yellow creatures arriving in The Big Apple from Antarctica – check it out below!

The movie takes us back in time – right to the dawn of civilization when the little single celled minion organisms evolved into the creatures they are today. After many adventures the Minions can’t seem to find anyone to serve and feel purposeless, so they venture out into the big blue ocean and travel from Antarctica to New York City, arriving there some time in the 1960s. There they meet a villain like they’ve never seen before, Scarlet Overkill (Sandra Bullock). Later they must travel to London and figure out a way to save all Minions from destruction.

Directed by Pierre Coffin and Kyle Balda, this movie looks like it’s going to be a great one.
