Men in Black is officially going to be back. According to producers Laurie MacDonald and Walter Parkes the revival of the franchise is currently in development. MacDonald revealed that it will be developed as a trilogy. However there is a catch – Will Smith will not be back for the revival and there is no word about whether or not Tommy Lee Jones sees it in his future.

The original Men in Black was released in 1997 and was based on comics by Lowell Cunningham.  After the original there were two sequels made, released in 2002 and 2012 respectively. Men in Black followed Agent K (Tommy Lee Jones) as he recruited a police officer (Will Smith) into a secret agency. Agent K and Agent J must stop the earth from getting destroyed by extra-terrestrial beings.
