Disney’s live-action Cinderella movie was either a sweet re-imagining of one of your favorite fairy-tales – or a huge disappointment – it just depends who you ask.

The film came out the spring of 2015 after months of buzz and excitement around the production. The plot tells the same old story we know and love. Young Cinderella is left in the care of a cruel stepmother (Cate Blanchett) after her loving father passes away. Dutifully fulfilling the commands of her evil stepmother and mean stepsisters (Sophie McShera and Holliday Grainger) Ella becomes a servant in her own home. Then one day she meets a prince (Richard Madden) and her whole life changes. With the help of her fairy godmother (Helena Bonham Carter) she finds the way to her true love.
